- Event must be open to any FIRST Tech Challenge New Jersey Team.
- Capacity and purpose of Event must be clearly defined and accepted by FTCNJ
- Event must be free to participate.
- Event must promote the mission/goals of FIRST
- Event must use FIRST endorsed materials and procedures
